About me

Passionate about photography, writing, travel and occasionally geography, here I share my photos and experiences in the 2 countries where I've lived so far : Mauritania and Tanzania. As well as photos from Senegal, where I've just been on vacation.

With a background in geography, but an artistic heart and a messy soul, this website is an interweaving of geographical concepts and photographs, sprinkled with poetry.

About the pictures

All pictures in the Mauritania and Senegal albums were taken with a Canon EOS 700D SLR camera, with a Canon 18-200 mm lens. The pictures in the album Tanzania were taken with a Canon EOS 90D camera, with two lenses, 18-70 mm or 90-300 mm. For the Ecosystem and Hands and Souls albums, the pictures were either taken with the Canon EOS 700D camera or the Canon EOS 90D camera.

In order to keep everyone's identity personal, I've decided not to show any portrait photos here. Only silhouettes can thus appear on my photos, unrecognizable. In France, publishing photos of a person in a private place without their consent is punishable by one year's imprisonment and a €15,000 fine (https://www.service-public.fr/particuliers/vosdroits/F32103).
